Responsibilities: – Secure UHS and associated information systems, identifying, diagnosing, and mitigating vulnerabilities. – Lead secure development practices and collaborate with development teams throughout SDLC. – Design and architecture of cloud and AI security technologies. – Review deployed security technologies for effectiveness. – Provide input to security standards, policies, and third-party security architecture reviews. – Identify security gaps and recommend solutions. – Document findings and create reports and metrics. – Stay up-to-date on latest cloud and AI security trends. – Mentor 1-3 less experienced staff and oversee assigned projects. Qualifications / Requirements: – Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Security, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience with certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security+, AZ-500) and 10+ years IT experience. – Minimum 5-8 years of cybersecurity experience. – Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and shared security models. – Understanding IAM, RBAC, multi-factor authentication, and least-privilege principles. – Exposure to OWASP Top 10, MITRE, DREAD or STRIDE frameworks. – Basic AI/ML lifecycle understanding and security fundamentals. – Knowledge of regulatory security requirements: SOX, HIPAA, HITECH. – Knowledge of HITRUST, NIST, CSC20 frameworks. – Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. – Travel up to 10% in the US may be required.
