Job Objective

The primary objective of this role is to implement, manage, and support Google Cloud architectures and environments. The candidate will be responsible for migrating physical workloads to Google Cloud, implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure processes, and ensuring efficient DevOps and SysOps operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Google Cloud Architecture Implementation

• Design, deploy, and support scalable Google Cloud environments.
• Configure compute, storage, networking, and security components.
• Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.

2. Workload Migration

• Assess existing on-premises or physical workloads.
• Plan and execute migration strategies to Google Cloud.
• Optimize cloud performance after migration.

3. CI/CD Pipeline Implementation

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Ensure reliable and efficient software delivery workflows.

4. Automation and Configuration Management

• Automate provisioning, configuration, orchestration, and system management.
• Utilize Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Maintain consistency and reliability across environments.

5. DevOps and SysOps Customization

• Customize DevOps and SysOps processes to meet project requirements.
• Improve collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Enhance system performance and operational efficiency.

6. Containerization Strategy

• Implement containerization solutions using Docker.
• Manage orchestration using Kubernetes where appropriate.
• Ensure scalable and secure container deployments.

7. Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Automate end-to-end infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure configurations.
• Improve deployment speed and reduce manual errors.

8. Reporting and Documentation

• Provide detailed implementation and operational reports upon project completion.
• Document architecture designs, deployment processes, and performance metrics.
• Ensure transparency and compliance with organizational standards.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience migrating physical or on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub.
• Experience with automation tools including Ansible or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote work environment.
